FOOD RIOTS IN FRANCE.
SEVERE STREET FIGHTING. WOMEN ATTACK THE SHOPS. (Received 8 a.m.) PARIS, September 10. The riots cgainst the high prices of i'ood continue, and there has been much heavy street fighting over a wide area of which Roubaix is the storm centre. Fifteen police and many rioters were injured during the rioting at Brest. Housewives continue to attack the retailers and market gardeners in manj centres. Placards, inciting the people of Paris to join in the riots, have been pasted in many quarters of the city, but so far they have had no result. BERLIN, September 0. The Merchants' Guild has urged the Government to facilitate the importation of Argentine and American meat.
