EX-SHAH'S TROOPS DEFEATED
70 MILES FROM TEHERAN. HIS GENERAL KILLED. (Received 5.40 a.m.) TEHERAN, August 11. The ex-Shah. Mohammed Ali, is within 80 miles of Teheran. During a fight 70 miles from the capital, the ex-Shah's forces, under Reshkl-es-Sultan, were defeated, the leader being killed.
