THE SYDNEY FIRE.

SYDNEY, June 27. The ruins of Fuerth and Nail's building are still smouldering. The cause of the fire is a mystery. Mr. Nail estimates the firm's loss at £27,000, which is fully covered by insurance distributed over a large number of companies, the largest individual liability being £3500, and the smallest £500. Over 250 employees are idle. Arrangements are being made for ithe firm to restart work immediately.
