ACCIDENT ON RAILWAY WHARF.

An accident of a somewhat serioua nature befel Captain Prosser on the Railway wharf this morning. While superfi vising the unloading of some slag from-* the s.s. Matatua into trucks on the wharf, Captain Prosser was caught and jammed against the side of a truck, receiving several broken ribs, and, it is feared, some internal injuries. Captain Prosser was until latterly master of one of the ShawSavill boats, and now holds the position ot shore stevedore for that company.
