COAL DURING THE STRIKE.
SYDNEY, June 13. Mr. Holman (Acting-Premier), replying to Mr. Wade in the Legislative Assembly to-day, said Kethel and Co. had made a claim of £76,000 against the Government for coal supplied during the late coal strike. The prices charged, Mr. Holman said, were 40/ per ton for large coal and 35/ per ton for small coal. Negotiations were proceeding for a settlement of the claim.
