On Tuesday evening the Rev. E. P. Blamiros lectured in the Methodist Church to an appreciative audience on "My Trip Round the World." The Hoy Scouts gave a concert on Friday evening in the I'U'blie Hall to a fair attendance. Mr Allan presided, and the programme was efficiently sustained by local talent. The Pukekohe East Road Board met on sSaturdny, when Mr Allan was re-elected chairman. The clerk (Mr I/aver) was reappointed clerk, treasurer, and collector. A letter was received from the committee of Manufciu Comity Conference re dividing the county, and ft was unanimously agreed to support the division. Pnparata Road Board wrote asking the Board to assist in urging on the Government the necessity of taking over the Great South Road.
