DEVONPORT ANGLICAN REUNION. A parish reunion in connection with the Devonport Anglican Church was held In the new Parish Hall last night! Mrs Wizzin," Miss Morrison; Bo n e _T ™ P arsons (encored); humorous song' Mr Binnington (encored). The second por-i-!2- n _" the P r °sram-me was devoted to Offenbach's musical comedy, "The Rose of Auvergne," the parts being taken by Mrs Gordon Lynch as Fleurette (landlady! ■ Mr Hal Glllmore as Alphonse (shoemaker) ' and Mr A. Fairnurn as Pierre (blacksmith)! An efficient orchestra considerably assisted in making the production a success. Mrs Petrie and Mr Williamson played the accompaniments. GRAFTON DISTRICT SCHOOL. The usual monthly meeting of the Grafton School Committee was held last evening, members present being: Messrs .1. Burton (in the chair), ,T. Carlaw, D. Duncan, W. J. .Tnffrey, H. Johnston, W. Johnstone C. Layer, R. T. Michaels. The report ef'the headmaster showed that the present roll number is 727. Various routine matters were dealt with. Accounts amounting to £15 2/9 yere passed for payment.
