GALE AND RAIN.
HEAVY BLOW IN CHRISTCHURCH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A heavy storm, which has raged since Saturday afternoon, abated this morning. The rainfall up to 9-a.m. was 5.115 inches. Water lies on all low-lying land, but no damage of consequence is reported.
