PAGEANT OF EMPIRE.
NEW ZEALAND'S SHARE.
A BRILLIANT SPECTACLE. (Received 10.11 a.m.) LONDON, June 11. The fourth part of the Pageant of Empire was a great success. It was devoted to overseas episodes, performed by visiting actors and actresses. The episodes included Captain Cook's landing in New Zealand and the Treaty of Waitangi. The Pageant concluded with a Masque Imperial, a brilliant spectacle, which was greatly applauded. An account of the meeting at which this portion of the Pageant was arranged appears on page 7 of this issue.
