THE PROPOSED ALDRIDGE-SCOTT BENNETT DEBATE.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —If Mr. Scott Bennett is so busy that he cannot spare more than one night for the proposed debate, possibly he would give another two hours on the same night, providing Mr. Aldridge is willing to do the same. That wpuld mean instead of debating from 8 o'clock to 10 o'clock it would be from S o'clock to 12 o'clock. I would respectfully suggest this to both sides.—l am, etc., W. HODGSON. Picton-street, Ponsonby.
