CONCILIATION COUNCIL.
RESTAURANT EMPLOYEES. The Conciliation Council sat yesterday and this morning in committee to further consider the case filed by the Restaurant Employees' Union. Certain matters were agreed upon, but upon it •being definitely ascertained that a complete agreement could not be. arrived at, it was ultimately decided to refer the dispute to the Arbitration Court. The asse.--urs for the employers were willing t'.iat only the clause in respect to which no agreement had been reached /should be referred to the Court, but the assessors for tbe employees requested that the whole claim filed' should be submitted, which course was finally agreed ■upon.
