THE MEXICAN EARTHQUAKE.
RECORDED IN AUSTRALIA. SYDNEY, June 8. The Observatory recorded a big earth tremor last evening, lasting for three hours. The centre was thousands of miles away. The tremor was the biggest since January, and was probably that cabled from Mexico. (Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Riverview College observatory also recorded earth tremors lasting several hours, the periods of some waves being nearly 40 seconds.
