RECIPROCITY PROSPECTS.
THE SENATE'S AMENDMENTS. (Received 1.50 p.m.). WASHINGTON, June 8. The chairman of the Finance Committee of the Senate told the Committee that all amendments to the Reciprocity Bill were certain to be killed on the floor of the Senate. Mr. P. C. Knox, Secretary of Stae, replying to interrogations, said that members of the Committee declined to state whether the adoption of Senator Roots' amendment would kill reciprocity.
