MORE REVELATIONS MADE. WASHINGTON, June 6.
The public hearings by the Senate Committee of evidence relating to the Reciprocity Bill have concluded, and the committee will discuss its report on Wednesday. The evidence given revealed the existence of a Printing Paper Trust, which publishers haped would .be smashed when reciprocity was effected. Evidence -was also given as to the existence of a United States Lumber Trust, and the grand jury yill seek to establish if an organisation in restraint of trade exists. AMENDMENTS TO THE BILL. * PAPER AND WOOD PULP DUTIES. (Received 1.40 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 6. Senator Underwood's Wool Bill Report has been submitted to Democratic members of the Ways and Means Committee. It sharply criticises President Taft, the Republicans and the Tariff Board. The Reciprocity Bill is to be amended, the change affecting paper and wood pulp products.
