(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. The Paeroa (rotf Club 'held its opening day on the links on the Paeroa α-aceconrse on Saturday last, and were favoured wich •beautiful weather. There was a good attendance of players and visitors. During the afternoon a mixed foursome competition iwas played, and was won by Miss Ha«ue Smith and Mr. A. P. Matthews. The lady members of the club provided afternoon tea, which was greatly enjoyed.
