fTKe newly formed Druids' Lodge held a moat successful euchre party and dance in the local town ball on Friday, March 31. There -was a record attendance, and, from every standpoint, Hie entertainment was a ivery successful and enjoyable one. Miss B. MoGovern was successful in winning the lady's prize," find Mr A. PtoTimT cess-ful in .the gentlemen's section. The trophies were duly presented toy Dr. Henderson. Danctog was commenced at the conclusion of the euchre, and kept up until the early hours of the.morning. Greatest praise is due to the organisers lor the efficient manner in which the arrangements ■were carried out. Messrs Camp, Peate, Groves, Hamby, Gpx, AnseJl, Gdfford, and Stewart (secretary) were the management conunittee, and to "their unceasing efforts tie success of tne evening is doe. The hall was decorated iv a most appropriate manner. Messrs J. Stewart, 8 , . A. Cox, and J. 'H. Ansell acted as -MjC.'s.
