ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

William Sherwood, a wharf labourer, was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon, while assisting to load the steamer Kaipara, and died last night in the hospital. DUNEDIX, Sunday. A man named Dosennis Fruhstuch. a gardener, ajred 61 years, died at his residence, South Dunedin, this morning, as the result of a trap accident some time ago. CHRISTCHUBCH, Sunday. A •well-known trainer and rider of trotting horses, Robert Allan, waa thrown from a horse at the New Brighton Club' 3 Trotting Meeting yesterday afternoon. He was found to be suffering from concussion of the brain, bat regained consciousness in the hospital, and i» progressing favourably.
