HOSPITAL STAFF RESIGNS.
« MORE TROUBLE AT NORTHERN WAIROA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DAEGAVHJuE, this day. The Northern Wairoa Hospital has unfortunately been a house of trouble almost since its inception, never for any great length of time have matters been allowed to run smoothly. It was thought that, since the subscriber system had been abolished everything and everyone attached to the institution would be as happy as the proverbial marriage bell. Not so, however. There has been a rift within the lute, and for some little time a revolution among the staff has been operating. The boiling point has now been Teached, and the whole staff, with the exception of the matron., have handed in their resignations. The disciplinary methods of the matron are alleged to be the cause of the rupture. A special meeting of the Board is to be held with a view to settling the trouble.
