ANGLICAN GENERAL MISSION.
Canon Tupper-Carey and the Rev. Cyril Hepher two members of the Anglican General Mission, returned to Auckland from the South on Saturday. Canon Tupper-Caxey a who has been conducting missions at Wangasiui ht\A New Plymouth, preached at St. Sepulchre's, Khyber Pass-road, yesterday morning, and at St. Mazy's Cathedral, ParneU, in the evening, and in each case to a. large congregation. At the conclusion of the service at the Cathedral the miseioner gave an address on the question of Holy Co-mv munion, for which almost the whole congregation remained. The Bey. C. Hepher, who has been at Stratford, preached at All Saints' Church, Ponsonby, yesterday morning, and at St. Matthew's Church in the evening, both services being welt attended. Both clergymen, who are accompanied by Mr. Joe Harris, an English working man evangelist, left by this morning's express for Rotorua. Canon Tupper-Carey and Air. Harris return to Auckland , on Thursday, and will speak at the men's mass meeting in the Choral Hall ii±<i same evening.
