SHIPPING DISASTERS.
COLLISION ON FRENCH COAST. LONDON October 15. The steamer Peveril collided with and sank the steamer Ville de Rocheftfrt off Noirmutier Island (France). The Ville de Eochefort had a crew of 26, and 25 were drowned. It is feared that the Norwegian ship Baldowie b,as been wrecked on the coast of Sweden.
