The action in which Allison Annii Parker, spmsler, of Wilby, near Yarra vonga, sued Samuel John M'Lees, far mer, of Tallygaroopna, for £ 1000 a damages for alleged 'breach of promisi of marriage, was concluded at L\le!bourn' on Monday last, the jury returning i verdict for plaintiff, and fixing th damages at £200, with costs. The steamer Biverina, of Huddart Parker, and Co.'s line, is being equippei with wireless telegraphy. It will be possible for the t\v steamers to communicate with eac' other at a distance of 1300 miles. Th R.M.S. Zealandia, which i≤ at presen on the Vancouver line, already has th •wireless apparatus, and on her outwar* trip "spoke" to Sydney at a distance c close on 1000 miles.
