MANAWATU. FEILDIN'G, Saturday. In this afternoon's matches, Feilding seniors (20) defeated Oroua seniors (nil). NAPIER. HASTINGS, Saturday. In the return representative match Napier beat Hastings by It! to 5. MASTERTON, MASTERTON, Saturday. The only match at Masterton this afternoon was between Red Star and Dalefield, in which the former won by 18 points to nil. Wairarapa Rugby Union will try and arrange a match with Auckland, if possible, when the latter tours the South on the next occasion. MANAWATU V. WANGAKuX WANGANTJI, Saturday. Wnnganul defeated Manawatu by ten points to five. Manawatu led 5 to nil the first spell, Wanganul scoring two tries, | which were converted, In the sccoud half. | CANTERBURY. CHMSTCHUBCH, Saturday. A week of wet weather had left the grounds in a very sodden condition, and the Rugby Union's committee, after careful inspection, found only three (all in Hagley Park North) lit for play. Two senior matches and one third class were i taken, and others were postponed. Albion beat Christchurch in a hard, close game by nine points to five, Merrivale beat Canterbury College by 41 points to nil. Merrivale scored 13 tries. OTAGO. DUNEDIN, this day. In the match Otago against Americans on •Wednesday the backs are unaltered, but in the forwards Casey and Ivoimey are replaced by Williams and Watt.
