DEFENCE OF AUSTRALIA.
THE NAVAL SIDE. LONDON, July 17. It is officially announced that Admiral Sir Reginald Henderson, commander of the Coastguard and Reserves at Portsmouth, will visit Australia at the Commonwealth's invitation. Captain Havorth Booth, Lieutenant J. Slee, and Staff-Paymaster Manisty, who are accompanying Admiral Henderson, have been instructed to gather at Home ports any information likely to be useful on the visit.
