HUMAXE SOCIETY'S AWARDS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The Royal Pluroane Society of New Zealand has awarded silver medals to the following: — Detective A. Ward (D-.medini, for rescuing Frank Fox from death or serious injury at Dunedin, on January 27 last. Benjamin Daley, for rescuing Alfred Hamplon from drowning at Port Pegasus, Stewart Island, on August 11, 1909. Evan Rait, for rescuing Robert W. Wilson from drowning, at Lake Laetitia, Mount White Station. Bronze medals have been awarded as follows: — William Debukker, for rescuing J. B. Xancckivillc from drowning at Ross, on February i>. Reginald L. Yarr, who rescued F. .1. S. Adams from drowning at Napier on March 30. James Phillips, for rescuing Maggie Petrie from drowning at Kairaki beach, Kaiapoi, on January 3. Percy J. Bailey, who rescued Gilbert ,C. Armstrong from drowning at Castlcclifl beach on December 19, 1909. George Tennant Anderson, for rescuing Wm. F. MeArthur from drowning at Cor-: sair Bay, Lyttelton, on December 27, 1909. Anhur Hardgrave. for rescuing Walter IT. Kisby from drowning at Te Henui, I New Plymouth. Hy. Giendinning, for attempting to rescue Oscar Olson from drowning at Wanganui, on August 20, 1909. Herbert Perry, who attempted to rescue Wm. Jeffs from drowning at Biighton Beach, Dunedin, on January 17. Several certificates and letters of commendation nave also been awarded.
