The capping ceremony in connection with the University College of Otago was held this afternoon, when the degrees were conferred as follow:—Bachelor of Arts 21, bachelor of science 6, bachelor of laws 3, bachelor of medicine and surgery 13, master of arts 3, master of science 1, master of laws 1, doctor of medicine 3. Speeches were delivered by the Rev. A. Cameron, who presided; Dr. Colquhoun, who dealt at length with work of the medical school; and Mr. T. M. Haslett, representing the students.
