CRIPPEN MURDER SENSATION.

SHOTS IN THE GARDEN. THE PURSUIT OF CRIPPEN. 9.35 a.m.); LONDON, July 15. Four months ago a resident near Crippen's heard shots in the garden, and later cries in the basement, '"Oh! don't!" The body was buried in quicklime, and a revolver found in the cellar suggested that Mrs. Crippen was shot prior to the body being cut up. It is not believed that Grippen and his paramour had much money on their disappearance. All the neighbours are agreed that Mr. and Mrs. Crippen appeared to live happily I together. They never wrote to her mother stating that she was married. Crippen spent Easter week on the Continent. The police suppose that Crippen's typist, Ethel Leneve, is accompanying him, disguised as a boy. Crippen purchased a boy's suit on Saturday. He represented an American patent medicine firm in London before starting practice as a dentist. The newspapers publish the forged letters in connection with his wife's disappearance. Crippen's son, who is employed by a telephone company at Los Angelos, states that his father wrote in April notifying him of his wife's death in San Francisco, where she had gone to settle estate business.
