THE COST OF LIVING.
AUSTRIAN PROTESTS. OPENING THE FRONTIERS. (Received 8.55 a.m.) VIENNA, June 16. Two thousand proprietors of restaurants assembled in front of the Parliament Buildings in Vienna and protested against the cost of provisions rising 50 per cent. They urged that the Servian and Roumanian frontiers be opened for the importation of cattle, and also the erection of State cold stores.
