"THE HXPOCEITES." The season of the Roberts-Day Company closes to-morrow night. Tie masterpiece of H. A. Jones, "The Hypocrites," will be staged this evening and to-morrow, and those who have not seen the company in this powerful play should not lose the opportunity. THE OPERA HOUSE. The present line programme at the Opera House will be repeated this evening for the last time, and to-morrow at the matinee there will be a complete change, the bill Including some specially line films. WEST'S PICTURES. A very interesting picture was shown last night by West's. Limited, at the Royal Albert Hall, depleting M. Paulhan's aviation flight from London to Manchester. Tonight will be the last of the present programme, and an entire change will be given at the matinee to-morrow afternoon. The proclamation of H.M. King George V., In London, is announced for Monday night. THE TIVOLJ. The management announce another change at the Tivoll this ereuing. Among the pictures will bo an drama called 'The Modern Highwayman." PRINCE'S EINK. This evening the long-talked-of carnival for the children will take place at Prince's Rink, the rlnkers being in fancy costumes, and special prizes being offered for the winning dresses. A number of ehMnni have been preparing assiduously for the event, and the sight should bo a very pretty one. GRAND OPETJA SEASON. Owing to the unprecedented demand for scats for the Grand Opera season, Messrs Wildman and Arey have opened extra rows of seats in the orchestra stalls. THE GLIDEAWAY. The popnlarity of the Glideaway in Co-burg-street is still in the ascendant. For next Tuesday a special attraction is announced—a challenge race between Rowland and O'Uare over a mile course. TOTE FISKS. There was another good audience at the Federal Hall last night to hear the Fisii Jubilee singers. This evening there is another change of programme, and the season is closing to-morrow night, so that opportunities for hearing this clever combination arc very few. HIBERNIAN HALL. A very successful social was held at the Hibernian Hall last night, under the management of the M.8.0.8. Club. The floor was in good condition for the eighty couples who Indulged in dancing. A handsome biscuit barrel, the ladies' prize for endhrc, ■was won by Mrs. Lewis; and Mr. Reardon won an umbrella as the men's prize. This is the second social of the scries at fortnightly socials being held under this management. CONCERT AT ELLEKSLIE. A highly successful concert was held In the Ellerelie Parish Hall last night, In aid of the Christ Church choir and church funds. The choir were much applauded for their rendering of "The Lullaby of Life." Vocal items were given by Miss Zoe Bartley, 'Mrs. Burgess, Mrs. Bellingham, and Mr. Grimshaw. A vocal qnartet was given by Miss Zoe Bartley, Mrs. M. M. McCallum and Messrs. Grimshaw and E. Ponntney: flute and piccolo solos were given by Miss Lilian Levens, and were a feature of the evening. Miss Owen Garland gave ft violin solo, and lightning sketches were given by Mr. Reuben Watts. The stage was tastefully arranged as a drawing-room, and made n pleasing background to one of the most enjoyable concerts elven in Ellerslie.
