PROPERTY SALES.
There was a good attendance at Mr. J. Thornes' land sale this morning, when a block of land was submitted for auction, having 57ft of frontage to Albertsfcreet, 57ft to Federal-street, and 214ft in depbh. The bidding commenced at £4000, and rose to £4450, at whioh price it was withdrawn. Messrs. Samuel Vaile and Sons (per Mr. Ward Baker) sold by auction this afternoon a corner double shop in Angle-sea-street, on a section 30J by 90J. The price realised was £520.
