The-trouble which has been smouldering among the Indian inhabitants oi Yucatan burst into open revolt yesterday, when a thousand of the disaffected tribesmen, under the leadership of Maximilian Bonitta, marched on the town of Valladolid. The police and a number of Government officials attempted to defend the town, but they were outnumbered by the rebels and, after forty had been killed the rest took to flight. A reign of terror now prevails i n the town, round which the Indians are encamped in entrenched positions.
