Bro. J. Smith Pyo presiding. There was a good muster of members and visitors to attend the "officers' night." Amongst the visitors were the Deputy O-.M. of New Zealand, Bro. J. Clark, P.P.G..\L, and the District Deputy G_\f. Bro. \V. Perry, P.U., ajid representatives from the Loyal Good Intent, Parnell, and DomiMon lodges. Two candidates wore initiated and two proposed for membership. After the lodge business, an adjournment was made for harmony, and a.n excellent and. varied programme was presented by the following:—Messrs. W. McDowell, T. Brough. Pollock, J. Smithson, Barker, Adeane, "The lioskill Quartet," and Bros. Lauder, Hamilton, Haddock, H. Stevens, Edwards, and W. Purcell. Bro. W. Purcell also acted as accompanist. A most enjoyable evening was concluded by the singing of the National Anthem.
