Pet.one Navals win, and carry o(T the challenge shield for the fourth time, with a percentage of 91.1 marks: Wellington Xav?Js, 85.9, second Canterbury, No. 1, 87.0, third; Otagty No. 2, 86.5, fourth; Auckland No. 2,"86.5, fifth; Otap;o Ko. 1, 8o.7; Canterbury No. 2. 8-i; Westport No. 1, 82.7; Auckland Ko. 1, 51.4; Auckland .Vo. 3, 76.
The report stated that the training was not progressive, and therefore not thorough.
