(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. A six-roomed house on ,the Waihi Freehold, owned by Mr. J. Twohey, was totally destroyed by fire early this morninoNothing ..to saved. The fire brigade, a?: rived, but no water was available. There jis an insurance of £150 on the huild_<T I and £100 on the furniture, in the Norwich Office. " .. ' . CA_-_R_pGE, this day.' An eight-roomed house at Pukekura the property-of Mr. G. H. Batty, was totally destroyed by fire on Sunday afternoon. The family, who had. gone for a walk, noticed smoke, and hurried home They found, the place just falling in They had left a small fire in the stove. The house was . insured in the North British for £250, and the furniture for £150 ,in the same office.
