CANADIAN-AUSTRALIAN TRADE.
THE ATLANTIC SERVICE. SUBSTANTIAL SUBSIDY. LONDON, February 24. The Ottawa correspondent of thij "Standard" reports that Canada, has sanctioned a substantial subsidy for a regular steamship service between her Atlantic ports and Australia, with a view to securing the traffic now going through to New York, and that negotiations are progressing for a rearrangement of the subsidies for the Australian-Vancouver service.
