ALLOCATING OF MAGISTERIAL DUTIES. (By Telegraph.— Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. I learn from the Department of Justice that arrangements for the distribution of Magisterial duties in the Auckland district are now complete, and will take effect next month. Mr. Cutteii, second S.M. at Auckland, will take' only Courts at Onehunga, Otahuhu and Papakura. This will enable him to devote the major portion of his time to the city Court. The Whangarei-Kai- ; para district will be taken by Mr. Scott Smith, who, in addition, will sit at Pukekohe, Waiuku, and. Mercer. j This district has been so arranged . that the double time hitherto allotted to sittings at Whangarei will in future be [ given to these sittings. Dargaville will : have a monthly sitting, instead ; of once in two months, as at present. It is bei lieved that these arrangements 'will. I meet both a the city and county requirements' for some time to come.
