TRAMWAY OFFENCES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I nee by yesterday's Police Court news that a man had to pay into Court the sum of £3 13/ for avoiding payment of fare and refusing to leave the platform of a tramcaT when requested to do so by the conductor. Now, sir, I have nothing to say against the above, but what I would like to know is, is it in a conductor's power to order one man off the platform and leave another man, or, as the case often is, leave two or three other men, standing on the platform! IS so, why so?—I am, etc., INQUIRER.
