COLONIAL LOANS.
CITY OF AUCKLAND ISSUE. LONDON, February 13. The City of Auckland is issuing £343,002 in four per cents, with 21 years' currency, at 101 J. New South Wales is issuing a loan of £2,750,000, carrying 3i per cent, at 97, a half-year's interest to be payable on July I, making the net price £90 2/. The loan has been underwritten on the usual terms. Holders of maturing four per cent stock are offered an equal amount of the new stock, with a cash payment of £4 2/6, of which £3 is for difference in the value of the stock and £2 for a coupon, due on July 1, less 17/6 interest. The list closes on the 17th, and cash applications for conversions on the 22nd. The loan referred to in the cable is the City of Auckland Consolidated Loan of £343,500, authorised by Parliament last session, and is to be utilised for various city works.
