The receiver appointed to examine the estate of Princess de Sagan reports that the estate of her father, the late Jay Gould, the famous American millriniure, is valued at £25,000,000. The income in 1903 amounted to £939,505, and fell during the panic of 1908 to £570,395. During the first four years of Anna Gould's marriage with Count Bini de Castellaine she was responsible for debts amounting to £1.200,000 sterling. The estate now allows her £40,000 annually, and her creditors have already received £770,000 sterling.
