PRICES INCtINSD TO HARDEN. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, January 30. .at the wool sales yesterday there was a good selection of merinos. Bidding was spirited and prices showed a hardening tendency. American buyers operated heavily in medium and. low quality crossbreds. Some of the prices realised for New Zealand clips were:—Elderslie, highest price 1/6, average 1/4; Teapiti, 1/4 J, average 1/2 3-Sths ; Tautans. 1/41, average, 1/2 3-Sths: W.D., 1/4!, average 1/1 5-Bths; Awatoite, 1/1, average 1/ l-Bth.
