Last evening, His Majesty King Edward, who i 5 staving near" Chichester. touched an electric button and opened the Royal Edward Tuberculosis Institute, in Behnont Park, Montreal. The spark actuated a motor in Montreal, which opened the doors of the Canadian Institute, lit the lights, and hoisted a nag. King Edward at the same time sent the following message:—""The means whereby I open the institute testifies to the power of modern science, and I m confident that the institute will afford equal testimony to that power when relief is applied to human suffering."
