FLAGS OF EMPIRE.
OVERSEA LEAGUE'S STAFF. r (Received 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, Augußt 26. General Sir George Higginson, in the presence of a large gathering at Great Marlow, Buckinghamshire, unfurled Empire flags from the first flagstaff erected in the United Kingdom by the Overseas League. The flags unfurled included those of New Zealand and the Commonwealth.
