EGMONT-WANGANUI HUNT CLUB'S MEETING. (By, Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Thursday. The Egmont-Wanganul Hunt Club he'd its annual Bteeplechnse meeting to-day. The fields were large and the finishes exciting. The following are the results:— Hack Hurdle Race.—Clemency 1, Maggie Paul 2, Taupo 3. Won by two length*. Licensed Victuallers' Steeplechase.—The Vagrant 1, Laatofos 2, Kapanul 3. Won with great ease. Open Hack Handicap.—Overtime L Captain Bell 2. A good finish. Time, 525. Hunters' Handicap Hurdle Race.—Kauro 1, Lochguard 2, Waterworks 3. Won by a length and a-half. Time, 2.595. Open Hack Handicap.—Apolllnaris 1, Captain Bell 2, Quick March 3. Won by a head. Time, 1.6 1-5. ■Hunt Club Cup.—Mauri X, Aesop 2. Won by two lengths. Time, 5.25. Ladles' Bracelet—Chase 1, Ngawaka 2, Taupo 3., Won by a length. Time, I.OL WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB'S MEETING. Also started: Clovial, Jet de More, Marlnga, Hill Lass. Won by several lengths. Time, 3m. Handicap Flnt Race, five furlongs.— Merrle Land 1, "No Trumps 2, Merrfe Christmas 3. Also started: Matlra, Lucretius, Golden Rein, Corinella, Fi Fi, Niseb, Franzlska, Terena, Musketeer, Skye. Won by two lengths. Walrarapa Hunt Club Steeplechase, about two miles and a-half.—Retinue 1, Hill Las» 2 Flrestlck 3. Also started: Moonlight, Laddie, Tui, Kildoon. Won by three lengths.
