MASONIC INSTALLATION.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ROTORUA; this day. The installation of Worshipful" Master Bro. T. H. Kirkby, of the Rotorua Lodge, and the investiture of officers took'pTace last night. Bro. Nicholson was installing officer, and a large number of raiting brethren were also present. After" the in- \ stallation ceremony, the brethren adjourn- ' ed to the Parish Hall, where a banquet took place. The usual Masonic toasts were given and responded to. In conse> quence of the late arrival of the express, \ the installation banquet was not concluded until 1.30 this morning. Bro. Nicholson and other Grand Lodge officers left for Tauranga this morning. Last night at the installation the retiring Master of Lodge Rotorua, Bro. Wm. Hill, was presented with a handsome jewel in appreciation of his two years' service as Master of the Lodge. Tha , success of the Lodge is greatly due to the .' untiring energy of Bro. Hill. Bro. Nicholson made the presentation.
