■ I NORTH NEW ZEALAND COURSING CLUB. The opening of the coursing season takes place to-morrow (Wednesday) at Middlemore Park. Otahuhu, when the North New Zealand Coursing Club will run off a maiden stake of £60, for which 34 nominations have been received. A special train service, particulars of which will be found in outadvertising columns, has been Arranged for and as the hares are reported to be" strong and healthy, lovers of coursing should enjoy an interesting afternoon's sport.
