Xhe Professional Marathon race from JVinds.-r to the Stadium, organised by the "Evening News," was run yesterday over &c course of the Olympic Marathon. Xiaety-eight competitors started, and the race was won by Gardiner, an English miner, in 2h. 53m. 2-ss. Labry. a French professional, was second, and Morns, another English competitor, third. The time returned cuts 2m. 18s. off that put up by J. J. Hayes, the American winner of the Marathon at the Olympic Games last July.
