THE FORREST HALL.
"PROBABLY A TOTAL "WRECK. SEAS BREAKING OVER HER. (By Telegraph.—Special to Star.) PARENGA, .this day. Captain Collins, master of the illfated ship (Forrest Hall, is reticent on tiha cause of the wreck of his vessel, but has supplied the following particulars of tho occurrence:— The ship struck the beach albout 20 miles below Cape Maria Van Diemen, on Saturday about 10 a.m., and is likely to become a total wreck, 'having a trig list to the south-west. All hands got ashore on Monday, after which the ship listed heavily* to seaward, and at 3 p.m. seas were sweeping clean over the hull, the water being at times half way up the mainmast. The ship's back appeaTs to be broken, and small quantities of wreckage have been washed up. The crew of the vessel soon after they got ashore were visited by Mrs. Yates, who had travelled overland from Paremga. She found them camped on the beach, and they were all treated with every hospitality. The crew arrive here to-day.
