A YEAR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The Hon T. Fergus, presiding at the annual meeting of the Standard Insurance Co., said the income for the year was £113,022, and expenses £97,456, leaving a balance of £15,565, from which the usual half-yearly dividend had been paid. The directors recommended the payment of a further half-yearly dividend of 7. per cent., with a bonus of 2J per cent. They regretted being unable to set aside anything this year to the reserve, bui were able to carry £8065 forward.
