The committee also recommended that applications should be invited for the position e-f pilot aud assistant harbour master at a salary of £325 a year. The matter was referred back to the Board in committee. Sale of Debentures.—The Board deckled to offer the flotation of £250.000 of the new loan of £1,000,000 to the Bank of New Zealand.
