ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. The police have received advice that William Ashley, manager of the Berkeley Estate, died suddenly at Henley this afternoon from an overdose of strychnine. NELSON, Friday. A .young man named Mead, employed on a railway siding at Kai Iwi, was run. over by a truck to-day. He was brought to the hospital, but the doctors have ; not yet been able to ascertain the extent lof his injuries.
