The police have received advice that William Ashley, manager of the Berkeley Estate, died suddenly at Henley this afternoon from an overdose of strychnine. NELSON, Friday. A .young man named Mead, employed on a railway siding at Kai Iwi, was run. over by a truck to-day. He was brought to the hospital, but the doctors have ; not yet been able to ascertain the extent lof his injuries.
