A man named Fltzberbert was found on a farm hanging from a tree to-day quite dead. SERIOUS AOCTOENT. INGLEWOOD, this day. A man named J. Thomas, while endeavouring to brake a truck of logs, fell. The truck passed over his arm, breaking it in two places; bis shoulder was also pulled out. He was taken to the District Hospital. BURGLARY IN CHIUSTCHURCH. . CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Recently a series of burglaries were committed in tbe Templeton district, stores being entered and goods stolen. As a result of investigations made, detectives visited Islington to-day, and secured a quantity of the stolen property in tbe possession of two men, one aa Australian,-and the other a recent arrival from South Africa.
